Spring Break 2008...

is quickly becoming just a collection of fond memories, but was so much fun while it lasted!

We spent Easter evening with my mom & dad. Of course there was the Easter egg hunt, which sadly had to held indoors this year. We also colored eggs & made paper bunny baskets.

On Monday evening, we all went to the warehouse at Daddy's work & let the kids run and ride bikes for as long and as hard as they possibly could. It was a great treat after many wet, gray days.

Tuesday evening, Emily spent the night at Grandma & Grandpa's house, while Colin & Daddy went to see Horton Hears a Who.

On Wednesday morning, we went with a bunch of friends to an indoor-huge-climby-playground type thing. (Nice description?!?) The kids had a blast! What a treat to just let them go wild for a couple of hours.

On Friday, we went with my parents to Pittsburgh for an overnight get away. We stayed at a motel with swimming pool (a highlight for the kids), then went to the zoo in the morning.

What a beautiful park! Emily loved the antics of the sea lions and watching the polar bears from the underwater tunnels, while Colin got a kick out of watching the gibbons attack the window that he was standing at. Tessa loved the playground & Cait was mesmerized by the scuba divers that were washing out the aquarium tanks. The trip was such a nice time away with the family.
