Silence is a Beautiful Thing

OK, just to let you know, I'm not grumpy like I was on Sat. :)  Just wanted to clarify that.

I tend to be the kind of person that is not comfortable with silence.  On one hand, that makes me a pretty good conversationalist.  On the other, I'm uncomfortable with pauses.  (Sorry if I've ever dominated a conversation with you!)  But, I have found that recently, I don't mind silence.  In fact, I find it to be quite beautiful.  Wonder why? :)

I once heard an interview with the mom of the Dilley Sextuplets.  She said that on the kids' first day of school, it was so quiet at their house, she turned on Nick Jr., just for the noise.
