Last night, our family spent the evening at a Dalton football game. Not only was the evening absolutely beautiful (in the 70s), but the team did an awesome job (71-28)!
So, why did a family of Smithies cross the Orange & Black Dalton line? Easy, #17...and 17's family. Our friend, Gavin..#17 (or as the girls call him, Gabin), is the quarterback for the Bulldogs. He & his sisters invited us to a game & boy did we pick a good one!
The kids thought it was so cool that he said "Hi" to them before the game & then came out for hugs afterward. So in the eyes of 4 kiddos...Gavin, Leiah & Becka, you ROCK! Thanks for your kindness to them. Boy, did you make them feel special!
