Day 4- Day of Rest

Colin was admitted to the hospital at 2:00 this morning, with severe dehydration & an infection. Because he wasn't released until 6 in the evening, it was a very long, boring day for him, but he was a real trooper! The staff at the hospital couldn't believe how good he was.

Throughout the day, Dave & I took turns staying with him...playing games, doing Sudoku puzzles, playing DS, watching TV, reading books & taking a really good nap...probably the best thing for him (& me). :) Grandma & Grandpa's pastor even payed him a visit. We found the hospital's staff & townspeople very kind & helpful! THANK YOU!

After being released, we had a root beer float party to welcome him home.

While Colin was in the hospital, the girls had their own adventure. They went to church with grandma & grandpa, discovered a tiny little chapel & took a step closer to conquering their fear of dogs, with the help of Sandy, the neighbor dog. :)

After it cooled down considerably in the evening, we made the trek to Coronado Heights for a little exploring.
