Sunday, Dave wanted to go bike riding in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park for Father's Day. We biked 5 miles of beautiful trails...the kids did a great job keeping up & following the rules of the trail. Everything was so green & peaceful! I'm so glad we were able to go.

On Monday, Colin's started his 2nd (& last) week of LEGO camp. This week he's making 14 different vehicles. 'Still having a great time!
Emily spent last night at mom & dad's, so Colin had his really good buddy, Gabe, spend the night. They had a good time playing baseball, golf, basketball & video basketball. They pretty much zonked out at bedtime. No chatting & giggling going on until the wee hours of the morning! Yet again another huge difference between boys & girls...it never ceases to amaze me.
Today, Emily is volunteering at MCC Connections again with mom. She had a really good time at the thrift store last week washing down shelves & couldn't wait to go again. It just about kills her not to buy anything when she's there, but to fight against the ongoing battle of clutter, we've made the rule that nothing comes home until our garage sale this weekend when other stuff leaves.
The girls are officially over their fear of our kitties, in fact, they are now scaring the cats. Cait & Tessa don't seem to understand that carrying them by the neck could be harmful to the kitties. Luckily, that has only happened once! From one extreme to the other!
Like I mentioned above, we're gearing up for our annual garage sale this weekend...AAGH! I'll be so glad when it's over. In fact, this may be our last "annual" sale for a while. We'll see how it goes.
