A little catching up to do

This past weekend...

Dave & the kids were in Elida with Grandma Daniels. Some highlights...graduation & retirement parties, bald eagle sighting, playing at Daddy's elementary school, Kewpee burgers, open house walk-thru, sewing with grandma, girls sleeping in a big girl bed, playing in the barn, & seeing Grandpa's new headstone.

They all had a great time. Thanks to Joyce for keeping the whole crew!

Since then...

Strawberries...strawberries...and more strawberries. Went picking on Monday evening after it had cooled down a bit. Told the kids we could go swimming afterwards. Got one block from pool... started lightening. Everyone disappointed (including mom & dad).

Made freezer jam Tuesday with Mom & Emily.

Picked more berries on Wednesday morning with Emily at friend's, the Baltics. Took four of their kids home (sometimes easier to have more kids at the house for entertainment purposes) :), made more jam with mom. DONE for 2008. Whew!

Kitties...took their first trip to the vet's. All is well, shots did them in. Been sleeping it off all day today!
Supposed to have a garage sale on Friday & Saturday. Rain forecasted. Rescheduled for next weekend.
