A good time was had by all

This weekend was our annual 3 Daves & a Jason (& families) Camping Trip. For those of you who don't know, Dave...Daniels, Snyder, Moyer & Jason Byler were all roommates/housemates throughout college. Since then, we've tried to get together each summer.

This year we met at Whispering Hills RV Park in Shreve, OH. We had such a fun time...swimming, putt-putting, frolfing, hiking, wagon riding, bike riding, playground"ing", visiting, "baby showering" and plain old messing around.

Elizabeth, our activities coordinator, did an excellent job teaching us camp songs & providing water balloons for a toss game that ended up as an all out water balloon fight. And, of course, the most memorable activity all (which I'm not sure has a name) involved squirting canned whipped topping into the palm of your hand, then hitting your wrist which makes the pile fly into the air & on its way back down, attempting to catch it in your mouth. GOOD TIMES!

On Sunday, we even had a time of "hymning" led by Jason & Janine's 2-yr old son, Isaac.

Our sites were on a hill overlooking miles to the north of us. Friday night, we had a beautiful lightning show to entertain us & on Sat, shooting stars. Amazing!
