Mixed Feelings

This weekend, Dave & I are going to a marriage retreat with 16 other couples from our church. I don't want to go. There I said it. Why? First of all, it's going to be sunny & in the 80s all weekend. Also, it's going to be long & it's going to be intense.

However, I'm sure that when it's all said & done, I will be very happy we went. I'm sure that it will encourage us where we are strong & help to strengthen where we are weak. But why, oh why couldn't it be rainy & dreary this weekend?
