There are days when it seems as if there's a theme running throughout. Today, it is the letter A...

1. Antibiotics...yet another round for Cait & Tessa as their ears have still not cleared. Although neither has an infection (today), they both have quite a bit of fluid behind the eardrum. Tessa has about a 30% hearing loss right now. So, if this course does not clear it up in ten days, then it's tubes for both.

2. Influenza type A...Last night, Colin complained of being extremely dizzy. In fact, he awoke during the night complaining about it. This morning, his fever was around 99.2 F. Concerned this might have something to do with the whole quarter incident, I made an appointment at our family doctor. By the time we got there, his fever was at 102.4 F. He has a little runny nose, but I didn't think much about that. Anyway, the doctor spotted it right away & did a nose swab...positive for the flu.

3. Ain't no sign of that quarter yet! (Forgive me, Mom & Mr. Scaife...my Jr. High & H.S. English teachers.) As it will be a week tomorrow since it happened, I'm hoping it will show up soon. If it doesn't appear in the next few days, it's off to get another x-ray done. (We may have to save this quarter, seeing that it will be worth more than our first car when all is said & done! ) :)
